Caramel Slice..!!

Hey ppl!
finally g0t up t0 makin' smtg.My caramel slice!! g0t me eyes 0n the lem0n cheesecake slices t0o but that g0nna hafta wait..hehe..
n0w this is what its supp0sed t0 l0ok like..=3

This is the vid where i learnt it fr0m..=p
The 0ne p0t chef..~

Here's the recipe..
BASE

1 Cup of Self Raising Flour
1 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup of Desecated Coconut
125g of Butter (melted)

TOPPINGS

395g can of Sweetened Condensed Milk
30g Butter
2 Tablespoons of Golden Syrup
200g of Dark Chocolate Melts


Preperation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 20 minutes + Chilling Time

Makes 12 - 24 Slices

n0w wat happened was...i kinda chnged the recipe abit f0r mine..pwahahahah!!XD Aww..c0me 0n a lil bit 0f 'm0dificati0n/alterati0n' w0n't hurt..wua3x h0nestly,i cudnt be b0thered t0 search f0r desiccated c0c0nuts n br0wn sugar n such..s0 i just used what i currently have in the kitchen..plus..it 0NLY has 2 ingredients instead 0f da wh0le packege thingy..=x s0 its easierrrr much..
Here's what i chnged..f0r the base:
250g ch0c biscuits (i used marie brand)
125 g melted butter
All u hve t0 d0:
1) just melt the butter and den add in crushed biscuits f0r the base..wait till it l0oked like wet sand den just press it 0n a baking pan c0vered with baking paper..easily d0ne..=D p0p it in the fridge f0r b0ut 30 mins..den ur ready f0r the t0ppings..ta daa~

2)0n a saucepan put c0ndensed milk,butter and g0lden syrup 0n medium heat.Then reduce eat and stir c0nstantly f0r 5 mins.

3)p0ur 0ver the base and put it in the 0ven 180 deg f0r appr0x. 10 min..( i p0ped mine in the frige instead..l0l)=x

4)heat the ch0c melts and p0ur it 0ver the slice.spread it 0ver and put it in the fridge again,,this time f0r b0ut 2hrs.

Here's what mine l0oks like:

Well..i kinda put the ch0c biscuits instead f0r 0riginal biscuits..da diffrence is in the c0l0ur..the 0riginal flav0ured 0nes are m0re like sh0rtbread c0l0ured.s0 at least the c0ul0ur wud c0ntrast in a way?? but i decided t0 put mine ch0c biscuits just f0r the l0ve 0f ch0cs XD bdw,in this pic, the caramel melted, i put it 0ut f0r t0o l0ng..wua3x was searching f0r me cam..=p h0pe it didnt l0ok t0o hide0us=x

its a shellfish t0 be exact helix p0matia..just g0ogle edible watersnail..then u'd n0e..hahaha..Yea pe0ple..its a SNAIL..=p freshwater or marine or terrestrial gastropod mollusk usually having an external enclosing spiral shell.. thats the image fr0m me camera after i b0iled the snails f0r 5-7 mins?? can't be t0o l0ng c0s it'll stick t0 the shell n by then it'll be hard t0 eat the insides..

wanna kn0w what the insides l0ok like??=x



i n0e it l0oks icky n0w..but ppl c0ok it with curry n s0me 0ther stuffs..didnt taste that bad..w0rth a try f0r smtg new...wua3x..here's sme pix i f0und it c0oked..=p

Pickle Cucumber..

Hiya !!!!!



AHAH!! finally my pickle cucumber w0rked!!! h0h0h0!!!its me 2nd attempt and it finally w0rked..kekekeke.Last tym, i was thinking, what is it that i wanna eat thats easy t0 make..=p it is easy t0 make..(Ya Think??) but here's tha hard part,it DOESN'T always w0rk.

!st type 0f pickle cucumber that i tried was the japanese 1..g0t it fr0m the u-tube vide0=x. weel, u g0tta learn it fr0m sumwer ain't it??hehe.

Here's the recipe:
2 tsp salt
3/4 cup water
3 tbs vinegar
1 tbs sugar
1tsp s0y sauce
cucumbers, carrots and daikons (i just used cucumber 'ere) xp

But then, that's n0t the recipe i was searching f0r, but it was a gud try nevertheless..hehe=p i wanted the sparkling pickles..pwahahahahaahaha!! s0 therf0re, i g0t a 2nd recipe just f0r the extra carb0nated essence t0 it=p This is the 1 that t0ok me 2 attempts=x

Here's the Recipe:
3 tbs sugar
2 tsp vinegar
1/2 tbs salt
1 finger chilli
1/4 cup water
here's h0w:
1)cut a whole long cucumber into 2 inch strips, There's n0 need t0 peel the cucumber,its d0esn't l0ok nice if ye d0..=p Then Set the cut cucumbers aside on a bowl.
2) Using a milk pan, heat up the water until it boils and add in the sugar ,salt and vinegar till it dissolves down.
3) transfer the mixture onto a glass container and let it cool down at room temperature. DO NOT use a plastic one cos for fermenting foods,glass containers and ceramics are used so as no to let the substance from the plastic to enter yer food. S0me substance from the plastic might react with hot water as well.
4) After the mixture c0ols, Add in the cucumber and chilli.
5) after 2-3 days, the cucumber will start bubbling..=] (this means the cucumber is c0oked and ull get yer nice sparkling cucumber pickles!!)

i have this great recipe f0r curry springr0lls n i just made it last weds night bef0re my trip t0 wales=p..i used a bag 0f p0tat0es..n i meant a bagggggggg 0f them..l0l.peel all 0f them n cut it int0 square pieces..Here's what u'll need=]

My bag 0f p0tat0es..=p
This is the skin f0r the spring r0lls..
A cup 0f curry p0wder
3 cl0ves 0f garlic..*0pti0nal*
2 tablesp0ons 0f 0yster sauce
n salt t0 taste
green peas *0pti0nal*

All u have t0 d0 is:
1)b0il the sliced p0tat0es
2)In a different w0k 0r non-stick pan, fry the curry p0wder with a cup 0f water and add the garlic and 0yster sauce with it.D0 this until the water evap0rates and the curry sauce appears to be thick.
3) Drain the p0tat0es and add t0 the curry sauce.Add an0ther cup 0f water.
4) stir it ar0und untill the water evap0rates again and then salt t0 taste..=]
n0te: i left the green peas 0ut..hate veggies..h0h0h0!! cant be b0thered t0 put them in=p
5) Then put the mixture in a b0wl and set aside till it c0ols d0wn
6) start r0lling the spring r0ll=p (use egg white t0 make the skin stick)
See??easy peasy..u can d0 it t0o..
